Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin Walleye and Smallmouth Guide Service

Sturgeon Bay is located between the waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.  The Sturgeon Bay canal is 7 miles long and over 20 feet deep.  This area holds some of the largest walleyes in the Green Bay system.  Along with some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the Country. 

Captain Doug Kloet's Guide Service will start targeting walleyes in April where there is a 15 inch size limit and daily bag limit of one.  This will last until the Wisconsin season opener which is the first Saturday in May.  We target the walleyes by jigging and trolling.  There is a good chance at a 10 pound walleye in Sturgeon Bay.  

You will find some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the midwest here.  It is not uncommon to catch 5 pound smallmouth bass in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin with the best bite taking place in mid May.
